Audience focus:
"We have to read a book? Why?"
A common question among my adolescent learners. Why, indeed.
Can reading, in our modern-day reality, be a guiding force?
Drawing on the passion of six adolescent learners for the visual interpretation of language, rather than the origin - the written sequence of thoughts and events - we embarked on a journey of bringing the written word to life.
During this presentation, we will go through the thought-process, the steps and digital tools we used, in order to rediscover the power of written words.
Following a game-based approach, and utilizing the online tools at our disposal, we might have managed to remind ourselves why reading deeply, accurately, assists both our comprehension and our interaction with this constantly shifting world.
