Images and mental imagery are highly generative resources in ELT. We are highly receptive to new images (vision), and carry with us a bank of images that reflect our experiences (visualization). This workshop presents six transferable activities based on content in NGL Life second edition.
The activities use images to: inspire student projects, aid creative output, practise grammar in an authentic context, effect more meaningful personalisation tasks, and develop critical thinking skills.
