Audience focus:
No two students are exactly the same and unfortunately, many students are labelled ‘bad at learning a language’ when in reality they may just have a different approach to learning.
In this workshop, we will delve into ‘activities’ taken from ‘Options’, Helbling’s exciting 4 level secondary course (A1-B1+) by world renowned author Herbert Puchta. Differentiated learning is very much at the core of Options, to meet all students’ different needs. Although we use the same syllabus for all students in the class, Options provides a meaningful and effective solution for mixed-ability classes. We will demonstrate some of the exciting innovations that personalise learning – so all students achieve their full potential. From differentiated and effective skills development, individualised online learning, CLIL, Karaoke, exam practice & innovative digital content-Options has a great variety of content that is sure to motivate all learners.
