Audience focus:
This presentation is based on a study that explores how individuals psychologically respond to different testing modalities, with a specific focus on exams administered by artificial intelligence (AI) compared to those facilitated by human examiners. By conducting a comprehensive survey analysis, the research examines key psychological dimensions, including anxiety levels, perceived fairness, and overall performance outcomes.
The findings highlight significant differences in anxiety levels experienced during AI-administered exams versus human-administered ones, revealing the distinct psychological impacts of these approaches. Additionally, the study provides an in-depth analysis of participants’ perceptions of fairness and bias, uncovering nuanced insights into how AI and human examiners are evaluated in terms of trustworthiness and equity. These results hold important implications for educators and policymakers seeking to design effective, equitable, and psychologically supportive assessment environments.
This presentation will discuss the study's methodology, findings, and their potential applications in educational and assessment contexts.
