Audience focus:
In traditional state education, foreign language classes often include a wide range of ability levels. This is particularly evident in English language learning, where some students are regularly exposed to English outside of school—through gaming, media, or family circumstances—while others have little to no exposure.
This disparity poses a significant challenge for teachers and can be demotivating for students: how can we effectively cater to these differences within a single classroom? This presentation explores practical and effective strategies for differentiation.
The interest for the English language was awakened early by Hans’ father, who was an English teacher. In his youth Hans spent months in England for holidays and work, making many friends and acquaintances. Hans’ career started in the automotive and industrial pump business. However since 2010 he has become dedicated to the field of learning English as a foreign language. Connecting advanced and innovative concepts to customer needs is his favorite challenge.
