On 20 March, BELTA went online for BELTA Day 2021.
As most teachers had been spending far too many hours tied to their computers, BELTA chose to go for a short, inspiring and practical afternoon event, which offered a mix of professional development, a creative and fun competition and the traditional raffle.
The participants' professional development immediately took centre stage with plenary speaker Tyson Seburn.
He built his plenary "Concrete Pedagogy for Multiple Futures” around the changed circumstances of teachers and teaching during the pandemic..
After two 40-minute practical and hands-on breakout sessions by 7 speakers, all participants could vote who w the winners of our creative meme competition for teachers and students.
The always entertaining BELTA Day raffle concluded the online get-together.
