Rianne Ariëns, who is a teacher in The Netherlands, has been attending BELTA Day for five years now! She began attending as a student volunteer while studying Teacher Training at Thomas More Mechelen. When she graduated, she moved back to The Netherlands and got a job right away! Even though she is based in The Netherlands, she has come in for the weekend of BELTA Day for the last two years. This year, Rianne joined the BELTA Board as its youngest member! Here is her blog post about the one and only session she was able to attend at BELTA Day 2018. This post originally appeared on her blog, Tales of a Young Teacher, which you can find here: http://www.thetalesofayoungteacher.nl.
Joyce Geyskens is a graduate of the Teacher Training program at Thomas More Mechelen. Presently, she is studying Journalism at KULeuven. As a previous BELTA Day delegate and volunteer, Joyce came back to BELTA Day 2018 to write an article about an English-speaking event. Here is her take on BELTA Day 2018.
More reactions about BELTA Day 2018 are coming soon!
This year at BELTA Day 2018, National Geographic Learning / Cengage Learning has graciously sponsored lunch. If you plan on attending BELTA Day 2018 this Saturday, please take a moment to read a little bit about NGL/Cengage from a teacher who uses a couple of the coursebooks produced by NGL/Cengage and then make sure you visit their stand in our Exhibition Hall to check out the range of titles available!
