May’s Sunday With BELTA webinar, All About Feedback from Students, was presented by Michael Griffin, who spoke about ways of collecting feedback from your learners. Most English language teachers would likely agree it is important to collect feedback from students. Of course, there are many reasons for collecting student feedback, many ways of collecting it, and many options for using the feedback once it is collected. In this interactive webinar we will explore student feedback and some of the related hows and whys. Through exploring the experiences and beliefs of the audience as well as his own experiences, thoughts and beliefs the presenter will help the audience think about their own styles and reasons for collecting feedback. Participants can expect to hear different techniques for collecting feedback as well as strategies for using the feedback collected. Participants will hopefully walk away with both ideas for collecting feedback and a new perspective on this important area.

Michael Griffin has been teaching for around 15 years, mostly in Northeast Asia and on the internet. He is currently based in Seoul where he teaches (mostly) English at Chung-Ang University. Currently, teacher training and development is both a hobby and passion. Mike is also involved with #KELTchat, iTDi, and the New School MATESOL program. Mike blogs here. Though he has presented more than 30 times in the last 5 years Michael has yet to do a webinar. He is excited to do his first one with BELTA.
