Leen Maes
Leen has been in love with English for as long as she can remember and has taught English in higher education for more than a decade. She thoroughly enjoys teaching English language and cultures to students of Communications Management and Tourism and Leisure Management at Erasmus University College in Brussels.
In her studies and research she focused on English and American literature and culture. She first discovered the delights of teaching at Newcastle University (UK), where she also completed her PhD, and then taught at the Universities of Amsterdam and Ghent as a lecturer and guest professor.
